What is a funeral celebrant?
A funeral celebrant writes, facilitates and officiates a funeral ceremony. There are two different types of celebrants. I am an independent celebrant. I adhere fully to the wishes of the family I am working with whether that be religious, agnostic or atheist while humanist celebrants will only officiate non-religious ceremonies.
